In 1979 Midwest Micro-Tek began providing consulting and design services for electronic control systems. Using this experience, we developed and began marketing Single Board Computers. Midwest Micro-Tek's Single Board Computers are small, powerful computers which are used in industrial and OEM applications. Our single board computers are loaded with numerous features and capabilities that fulfill the needs of the engineers and product developers that use them. Midwest Micro-Tek's extensive experience in design and manufacturing of electronic assemblies guarantees our customers a cost-effective solution to a wide variety of embedded control applications. In 2002 Midwest Micro-Tek expanded its product line, and research and development capabilities by acquiring Microconversion Technologies Co. This merger brought the Ultra DP5 SAW Hygrometer, environmental sampling technologies that are currently being developed, and significant experience in instrumentation design. These new assets will enable Midwest Micro-Tek to become a leader in environmental monitoring and homeland security solutions.
