Ultra DP5 SAW Hygrometer
 Applications
The small size and portability of the Ultra DP5 allows it to be
used in many fields where accurate dew point and relative humidity
measurements are required. Examples are laboratory, industrial,
meteorological, and metrology applications.
Metrology:
Ultra DP5 hygrometers are being used as the reference standard for
calibrating relative humidity sensors and psychrometers. The high
accuracy of the Ultra DP5RH’s relative humidity calculations
makes it ideal for this application.
University Research:
Any application where the humidity content of a gas is a critical
part of your research calls for the accuracy and precision of the
Ultra DP5. Recently, researchers at the University of Missouri,
Columbia used a DP5 to evaluate the performance of a next generation
space suit. Researchers at the USDA Cotton Ginning Research Lab
are also using the Ultra DP5 to study the effects of humidity in
a cotton gin on the quality of cotton fibers.
